Whip checks (or hose halters) are an integral part of high pressure hose safety. For use on hydraulic, pneumatic, and water pipes and hoses. Rating tag includes both recommended pipe size chart and breaking strength.
Our whip checks meet OSHA requirements for restraining devices on pipe and hose connections, per OSHA1926.603(a)(10).
USE: Choke each eye around the two ends of a high pressure hose connection to significantly limit environmental and personnel damage in the case of an unexpected connection failure. Slide rubber stopper grommets to tighten eyes and ensure eyes do not become too slack and move out of place.
